This unique program in Germany is interdisciplinary and combines computer science, design, and empirical sciences, particularly psychology. Various perspectives on human interaction with technical systems, such as smart household appliances, online shopping platforms, smartwatches, or autonomous driving systems, are integrated to facilitate the best possible design of these complex and not always frictionless interactions. In this new program, students will learn theories, methods, and tools to design, program, and test such systems. Graduates of the Master's program will have diverse career opportunities in small, medium-sized, and large companies, such as User Experience Designers, User Interface Designers, User Researchers, or Software Developers.
