The Faculty of Media of the Bauhaus-University Weimar, Computer- Supported Cooperative Work Group, invites applicants for a position opening on 1 April 2009 of a Full-time Research and Teaching Assistant We can currently guarantee the position until 31 March 2011, and aim to extend it (up to 6 years). The position is full-time and offers the possibility of doing a PhD. In the CSCW Group we develop, implement, and evaluate concepts and system for the support of cooperative work, cooperative learning, and social interaction. In particular, we develop distributed, ubiquitous platforms for the context-based and location-independent support of cooperation in groups. Successful candidates will, therefore, work in these areas. Assistants at the Bauhaus-University Weimar are paid employees of the university, who pursue a Ph.D. and participate in the research, teaching and other activities of the CSCW group. April 2009 an der Professur Computergestütztes kooperatives Arbeiten (CSCW), eine Stelle einer/eines Wissenschaftlichen Mitarbeiterin / Mitarbeiters zu besetzen. Die Stelle ist zunächst bis zum 31. März 2011 befristet. Eine Verlängerung ist nach den geltenden Regelungen des Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetzes (WissZeitVG) möglich. Eine Weiterbeschäftigung bis insgesamt sechs Jahre wird angestrebt. Es handelt sich um eine Vollzeitstelle. An der Professur CSCW werden Konzepte und Systeme zur Unterstützung von Zusammenarbeit, von gemeinsamem Lernen und von sozialer Interaktion entworfen, realisiert und evaluiert. Insbesondere geht es dabei um die Konzeption und Entwicklung verteilter, ubiquitärer Plattformen zur kontext-basierten und ortsunabhängigen Unterstützung von Kooperation in Gruppen. Als Mitarbeiter/Mitarbeiterin sollen Sie sich daher an diesen Themen in der Lehre und Forschung der Professur CSCW mitarbeiten. Die Vergütung richtet sich nach den Bestimmungen des Tarifvertrages für den öffentlichen Dienst der Länder (TV-L) entsprechend den persönlichen Voraussetzungen bis zur Entgeltgruppe 13 TV-L.
