Information Patterns in Team Performance - Winter term 2005/2006
Description
Along their lifecycle teams and work groups run through several stages starting from their forming to their dissolution. Models like the well-known Team Performance Model (Drexler et al. 1988) summarize and define these stages and the relations among them. Every stage has its particular need for information.
This project elaborates some of these models and analyzes their (typical) information requirements (information patterns). A prototype will be implemented not only to deliver stage-specific information but also to determine and visualize a team’s stage according to their information usage.
