Towards a Formal Model of Ubiquitous Faces
Description
This diploma thesis researches the concepts of selective information disclosure by Erving Goffman. Based on a literature research, multiple indicators are identified that are responsible for the selective disclosure of personal information. An empirical study will be conducted to explore people's interaction behaviour in social situations as well as when using instant messaging systems.
