Conference Venue
The conference venue is the
Welcome Centre Bamberg in the Welcome Kongresshotel, located only a
10-minute stroll away from the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage old town.
Its Conference Centre provides space for up to 1400 persons in 14 rooms
of different size and offers scalability in the number of participants.
Tutorials and workshops (14-15 Sept.) and any other event prior to the main technical program take place at University of Bamberg’s new ERBA Building. The ERBA Building is located on the northern part of the city island and a 10-minute walk from the Welcome Centre. It is surrounded by a beautiful park—the area of the Bavarian gardening show 2012—and forms the heart of a new emerging waterfront district.
